How does VisionTMS collect and hold your personal information?
VisionTMS will generally collect your personal information directly from you when you interact with us by telephone, email, instant messaging or via our website.
When you have treatment with VisionTMS, the information you provide and details of your interaction with VisionTMS will be recorded.
In some instances, it may be necessary to collect information about you from another person such as the health practitioner who refers you to VisionTMS (e.g. your General Practitioner).
Your information may be stored in an electronic record. Each time you interact with VisionTMS new information may be added to your record.
Giving us personal information is voluntary but if information is not provided, VisionTMS may be limited in the assistance we can give. By giving us current, accurate and complete information, we are best placed to assist you.

Any VisionTMS Staff member who is undertaking training may discuss their cases with a training Staff member. By accessing VisionTMS services you will accept that in order to obtain the services, you are providing consent to any discussion about your case that may occur between the VisionTMS Staff members during training.

Your personal information is held in VisionTMS password-protected computer systems and in access controlled premises. We maintain strict policies regarding who has the authority to access your personal information. All our staff are bound by a formal code of conduct. You may contact VisionTMS at any time if you have any questions or concerns about this Privacy Policy or how your personal information has been handled using the contact details below. If you have contacted VisionTMS and your question or concern has not been able to be resolved to your satisfaction, you may make a complaint to us.
We will consider your complaint to determine whether there are simple or immediate steps which can be taken to resolve the issue. We will generally respond to you within a week. If your complaint requires more detailed consideration or investigation, we will acknowledge receipt of your complaint within a week and endeavour to complete our investigation promptly. We may ask you to provide further information about your complaint and the outcome you are seeking. We will then typically gather relevant facts, locate and review relevant documents and speak with the individuals concerned. In most cases we will investigate and respond to your complaint within 30 days. If the matter is more complex or our investigation may take longer, we will let you know.
